From the smallest town to the biggest city in Tirol – that's what riders competing in the Men Elite Individual Time Trial and the Men Juniors Road Race at the 2018 UCI Road World Championships can look forward to. The course for these two races will take riders from Rattenberg, officially the smallest town in Austria, to the finish line in the centre of the regional capital Innsbruck.
Rattenberg and the idyllic Alpbachtal Valley are known for their beautiful landscape, traditional farmhouses and warm swimming lakes. For cyclists the region offers the perfect combination of easy cruising along the flat Inn Valley and challenging climbs into the Rofan Mountains and the Kitzbühel Alps.
