Where the soles of the feet tingle
There is another famous Hahnenkamm in the Tyrol: the Hahnenkamm Experience Arena in Außerfern. It enriches the Reutte holiday region, with its 400 km of superbly tended hiking paths, with a very special attraction, the alpine barefoot hiking path. The start is located five minutes' walk from the Reutte cable cars, at the top station of the Jochhalde lift. When you arrive there, take off your shoes, then off you go. Walk across the juicy meadows of the Höfen Alm from one foot-fit station to the next, give your feet an invigorating massage and also enjoy a Kneipp treatment with refreshing mountain spring water.
Free natural healing method The tender tingling on the soles of the feet is a pleasant side-effect; walking barefoot also serves a physical training. As a priest, Kneipp also knew about the healthy effects of walking barefoot and Kneipp treatments. You can also strengthen the muscles of the feet at the individual stations. Hikers really treasure this free natural healing method, and children also enjoy it. The stations are diverse and a pleasure for the entire family. A feast for the senses is the surrounding nature, which gets the heart pumping. The alpine flower garden with its old stock of trees and around 480 types of alpine plants is another highlight of the Hahnenkamm Experience Arena worth seeing.
