In Obladis, at 1,386 metres above sea level, lies the source of what is known as "Tirolean sour water". This spring has been known for 800 years for its healing properties and as important source of mineral-rich water. Water is also the theme of this trail in Ladis with a number of information boards providing information about this important element in all its many forms. Among other things, hikers pass a water wheel, a "giant spring", a water drop they can sit down on for a rest, and a grotto through which a stream once flowed. The hike can also be extended to the twelve-metre-high Wode Tower. This offers a marvellous view of the Inn Valley and the Kaunertal Valley. The well-maintained paths and relatively flat profile make this hike suitable for families.

Trail description
The starting point for this easy hike is the pond in Ladis. From there, head towards the wooden water wheel and from there along a wide path to Plojen. Then branch off to the right and cross a meadow to the stream. After passing the "water curtain", the path finally leads left directly to the grotto and up to the "Villa". A small path above the forest path soon joins the forest path again. The left fork then leads to the path towards Café Obladis, where you will also find the Sauerbrunn, the source of Tirolean sour water. If you want to take a shortcut here, you can take the trail down back to the starting point to the left of the spring.
Otherwise, continue along the route, which leads into a beautiful forest path at the first bend in the road and runs parallel to the road towards Neuegg. Before that, however, turn left and ascend slightly to the Wode Tower (1,487 metres). From there, take the return route on the road past the Wodesee lake, the Panorama Café Neuegg and the Asterhöfe farmsteads to Ladis.
