Hämmermoosalm Toboggan Run

This easy 2km toboggan run leads from the Hämmermoosalm (1,417 metres) down to the Salzbach car park (pay-and-display) in the eastern part of the Gaistal Valley. Up at the hut you can look forward to wonderful views of the surrounding mountain landscape. The run itself is easy, even for children, with a gentle gradient from start to finish. The approach to the hut can be completed on a separate trail, the "Ganghoferweg", which turns off right from the car park and is relatively steep at the start. This toboggan run is sometimes closed after heavy snowfall due to a high risk of avalanches.
