Kelchalm Toboggan Run

The ascent along the toboggan run starts next to the Grüntalkapelle chapel in Aurach and leads along a flat section before becoming steeper towards the top at 1,432m, where magnificent views of Kitzbühel as well as the Schützkogel and Tristkogel mountains are a fine reward for the 90-minute walk. The Kelchalm hut, also known as the Bochumerhütte, is open from early December. Although well-maintained, the run is narrow and challenging at the top. The middle section is wider but fast, while the final section down into the valley is flatter.
