Winter hike
Ehrenberg Ruins

This winter hike is a great way to tempt reluctant children out into the mountains. It takes hikers to the ruins of what used to be the Ehrenburg fortress, well worth a visit in its own right, but also to the famous "highline 179" hanging footbridge. Not for the faint-hearted, it is 110 metres above the ground and an incredible 405 metres in length, making it one of the longest hanging footbridges in the world. The walk up to the bridge is easy and therefore suitable for families with children.
