Weg der Aussicht, Venet

The "Weg der Aussicht" is a winter hiking trail on the Venet mountain featuring spectacular views of mountains including the Valluga, Zugspitze, Riffler, Parseier and impressive 3000m peaks such as the Wildspitze and the Ortler. The hike starts at the top of the cable car at 2,200m and is very popular with families. Indeed, the ride up to the top on the gondola is an experience in itself. Points of interest en route include the Gegenwartskapelle chapel and the mountain restaurant with its delicious food and majestic views.

Trail description

The hike starts at the top of the Venet cable car, which leaves from the centre of Zams. After travelling up by gondola to 2,208 metres above sea level, hikers should follow the signs to complete these popular circular hike along the mountain ridge.
