“I am someone who likes to do things properly – that goes not only for family life but also when it comes to looking after our guests. Every day is special and should be celebrated as such. It’s important to me to make the most of each day. When I need some time to myself I walk along the Vils stream towards the Vilsalpsee lake. The stream is beautiful and has lots of large stones. I sit down and feel the energy of the water which has been flowing here and shaping the rocks for millions of years. Those moments give me a inner peace and the energy I need.

Sometimes I walk along the banks of the stream, sometimes I jog –it depends how I feel. I am not as active as my husband and my son, who both do sport five times a week. I like to take things a bit easier – working with people all day takes up enough energy as it is. But after I have been out on my own for a bit and recharged my batteries I am ready to go back to the hotel and carry on.”
