Almdorf Fallerschein is Tirol’s largest alpine village, with around 40 log cabins. Visitors are continually impressed by the panorama of alpine meadows, mountain streams, steep slopes, dairy and log cabins. The Alp is also home to a „Sennerstüberl – Dairy Lounge“, a worthwhile day trip destination, whatever the weather. The proprietor conjures up Tirolean specialities on a traditional wood-fired oven, the ingredients for which come predominantly from their own farm. Furthermore, Fallerschein is the ideal starting point for extensive mountain hikes.
