Mountain Hiking Guide
“We do not climb mountains to reach the summits, but to return to a world that seems to us like a life given back.” (Reinhold Messner)
Hiking calms, hiking heals, hiking strengthens, hiking brings the essentials to the forefront - nature! Only those who know nature can appreciate, respect, and protect it.
You are a guest on Tyrol's high plateau (Leutasch, Seefeld, Scharnitz, Reith or Mösern) and would like to experience the magnificent nature of the Wetterstein Mountains, the Karwendel, and the Mieminger Chain away from the tourist crowds? Are you unsure which paths your body and mind can explore? Would you like to enjoy the hike without planning and have a local as your companion? Then I am very much looking forward to meeting you.
In the summer I offer something for every preference - from leisurely valley hikes for all fitness levels, to e-bike + hike tours, to moderately challenging summit tours (without climbing, without risk of falling).
THE SUMMER HIGHLIGHT: The 2-Day Bivouac Tour Wettersteinhütte:
+ 2 days of hiking
+ 1x bivouacking in the open air on the premises of the Wettersteinhütte (1717m)
+ Half board at the Wettersteinhütte
+ Summit option “Gehrenspitze”
+ Bivouac equipment can be borrowed
+ 3 ascent and descent variants from 500 m to 1600 m – tailored to you!
More information about the 2-Day Bivouac Tour Wettersteinhütte can be found here.
Here is an excerpt from my summer hiking program.
In the winter I will show you the breathtaking mountain landscape around Seefeld - hiking through sparkling snow away from the crowds - with or without snowshoes - an unforgettable experience. If you have always wanted to learn how to toboggan properly, you have the opportunity to do so in my tobogganing workshop.
Here is an excerpt from my winter hiking program.
Dogs and other pets are generally not allowed on my tours (to protect the peace and quiet and the wild and alpine animals, out of consideration for other participants with regard to allergies, fears etc. and to protect the dog from overheating, overexertion etc.). I speak German and English.
