Description

Wakis Theaterstadl was newly founded in Seefeld in October 2016 and has since taken an important place in village life. The performances are not only a highlight for the audience but also an excellent opportunity for the community to come together and celebrate creative talents.

In February 2017, the "Anniversary Play," a lively farce by Tobias Landmann directed by Luis Auer, was performed. The still young association achieved a nomination for the 2020 People's Theater Award in May 2018 with the comedy "Out of Control" by Ray Cooney, also directed by Luis Auer, demonstrating the high quality standards and commitment of the association.

In May 2019, the play "He Who Laughs Last, Inherits!" a comedy by Christine-Eva Biegl, directed by Luka Oberhammer, thrilled the audience in the newly renovated Stadl. The children's group, which has been active since autumn 2017, had its first performance in June 2018 with "Little Witches and a Big Adventure," contributing to the promotion of young talents.

In November 2022, rehearsals began for the new play "Quiet, We’re Filming," directed by Luka Oberhammer, which was performed at the end of April and the beginning of May 2023. At the end of April/beginning of May 2025, the first comedic thriller "Father Brown - and the Death of Snow White" will be staged.

The association welcomes new members who are interested in enriching the theater with fresh ideas and committed involvement. Anyone who shares a passion for the stage is warmly invited to become part of this vibrant community and thus strengthen the importance of theater in village life. Together, we keep the magic of theater alive!
