Therefore, it is little surprise that this region in the heart of the Alps is known around the world as a haven for all those who like to challenge themselves on Europe's toughest rockfaces. Famous terrain in Tirol includes the area next to the Schleierwasserfall waterfall in the Kaiser Mountains, which offer some of the hardest rock climbing in the world.
