The Almabtrieb in Roppen, where more than 70 animals find their way back to the valley, attracts numerous spectators who celebrate the return of the herd together with the
farmers and accompanying helpers. The festively adorned cows with their headgear and bells, in keeping with old farming traditions, proudly display the joy of returning to the valley.
