How does a modern cable car actually work – and what goes on behind the scenes?
This summer, you’ll have the chance to take a look behind the scenes of the 3S Eisgratbahn. During this guided tour at the mid-station, a staff member will share fascinating insights into the operation of one of the most powerful cable cars in the Alps.
How is a cable car controlled and monitored? What kind of maintenance is required, and how efficient is its energy use? In addition to technical details, you’ll also learn interesting facts about transport capacity, number of towers, and daily operations behind the scenes.
