Mountain biking brings joy – and a day at the bike park is just as exciting for children. Overcome steps and roots, feel the ground under the tires, and conquer every bump. Even when an obstacle becomes a stopping point, the confident control of the bike remains the goal of the day. Enjoy the thrill of the single trails, refine your cornering technique, and master the bunny hop. Fun and play go hand in hand with every pedal stroke.
Biking Skills and Trails at the Bike Day for Kids
A day program with bike guides and skills trainers
Biking is fun, so a day at the bike park for kids is fun too. Riding over steps makes your heart race and have you always wanted to roll over a few roots on the path? Do you want to maintain your balance on the bike in every situation? If a step turns into a drop, do you want to stay confident on the bike? Do you want to rock down a real single trail with fun and joy while improving your skills? Learn bunny hops and carry speed through corners?
Or are you already more advanced, wanting to make some noise and jump over the big jumps? Tear through berms and work on your style? Then you are in the right place at the Bike Day. We adapt the groups to the level of the registered kids.
Kids on Bike
The focus of our Bike Days is certainly on playfully learning biking techniques and solidifying bike skills. We create a good mix of trail riding, exercises in the parking lot, and exercises in the terrain. We use the lift to maximize descents as much as possible and make it meaningful, so it will definitely be varied. It is important for us to check the skills and, if necessary, solidify them so that riding confidently in the bike park is realistic without injury. Safety comes first, but fun comes right after.
Schedule of the Bike Days
We meet at 9:00 at the parking lot at Katzenkopf in Leutasch, and after purchasing lift tickets, we are off. There will be different skill and age groups, so the amount and difficulty of exercises and trails will vary. A lunch stop at the Katzenkopfhütte is planned. The end is every day by 15:30 at the latest.
Parents do not need to stay close during the day, but of course can also enjoy a few rounds in the bike park or take a leisurely hike up Katzenkopf.
Additional Information: Since mountain biking and outdoor sports, similar to skiing, are considered risk sports, we ask all parents to ensure that their children have adequate accident insurance coverage. The registration deadline is one week before the start of the event. At that time, it will also be decided whether the minimum number of participants has been reached, if the event will take place, and how the group divisions will look.
