Mainz 05 meets Alpine Cheese – Visit to the Niederkaseralm with Tasting

Experience a unique insight into traditional alpine farming in the Hohe Salve region. At the Niederkaseralm in the Kelchsau valley, fresh alpine milk has been processed into cheese, butter, and yogurt for centuries. The milk is produced by cows grazing on lush alpine meadows full of herbs – the basis for the award-winning natural products of the Niederkaseralm (winner at the Käsiade 2023 and Alpine Cheese Olympics 2024).
During a short guided tour, you will learn more about life on the alpine pasture, sustainable production, and the harmony between humans, animals, and nature. The tour concludes with a small but delicious cheese tasting.
