The cathedral organist Elias Praxmarer, together with the renowned German violinist Friedemann Breuninger, presents an exciting program that connects the baroque master Johann Sebastian Bach with the sonically intense modernity of Béla Bartók. The first part of the concert takes place in the impressive setting of the baroque Bernadisaal, before the audience moves to the cathedral basilica. There, Bach's monumental Passacaglia in c minor – a highlight of organ music – will resound to celebrate the grand finale.
