In August, Benjamin Keplinger plays live and unplugged every Tuesday evening from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Kaltwassersee – atmospheric during sunset. Small snacks and drinks are available on-site (for a fee), swimming is not allowed. The lake can be reached on foot or by bike from Seefeld (last lift up: 4:45 PM). The return journey is in the light of headlamps – so: bring a blanket, warm clothing, and a headlamp!
Sundowner Music at Kaltwasser Lake
As the sun slowly disappears behind the mountains and the Kaltwasser Lake is bathed in warm evening light, a very special atmosphere arises at the Rosshütte. In August, this mood will be musically accompanied every Tuesday evening (weather permitting) from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM: Benjamin Keplinger plays live at Kaltwasser Lake – unplugged and subtly enhancing the unforgettable sunset.
A few soft drinks and small snacks will be sold from a bummeltable on site, providing the culinary extra. If you like, you can choose your favorite spot by the lake, spread out your own blanket, and enjoy the moment (swimming in Kaltwasser Lake is not allowed, however).
The best way to reach Kaltwasser Lake from Seefeld is on foot as part of a small hike (the last ride of the funicular is already at 4:45 PM). The lake is also accessible by bike. After the concert, the return path leads you back to the valley in the glow of your headlamps. We recommend this route.
Tip: Bring a headlamp, warmer clothing & your own blanket.
