Description

This flat, scenic cross-country ski trail starts above the Moosalm on the outskirts of Barwies. The trail is prepared for both classic and skating styles and is ideal for beginners as well as for relaxed training sessions. The start and finish are located above the Moosalm. The clear route and quiet surroundings make it particularly attractive for beginners. Thanks to its sunny location, it also offers pleasant conditions in good winter weather.

Getting here

  • Arrival by public transport

    Bus 350 or 355 - stop "Barwies Kirche" approx. 15 minutes' walk to the Moosalm starting point) www.vvt.at

  • Parking

    You reach the starting point via the Inntal valley. At Telfs or Mötz you drive onto the Mieminger Plateau and on to Mieming. There you follow the signs to the Waldschwimmbad swimming pool. There is a car park where you can park your car. From the car park it is about a 5-minute walk to the entrance at the Moosalm.
