This 45-kilometer long track features about 200 meters of difference in altitude. Accompanied by picture-book panoramic views, you follow the Lech mountain brook – one of Europe’s last white waters. A truly unique experience you should not miss!
Start at Steeg and proceed downstream on the Lechtal cycling trail (no. 9). The route is well marked, just follow the green signposts with the Bike Trail Tirol logo. You will cross the Lech river several times during your ride to Holzgau and Bach. Continue past Elbigenalp and through Häselgehr, Elmen and Stanzach until you turn right to Forchach shortly before a rope bridge. This section of the Lechtal cycling trail runs to the new wooden bridge shortly before Weissenbach. Having crossed the bridge, take a sharp right and you will reach Weissenbach am Lech after a few hundred meters.
