Winter hike Complete Route for the Seefeld High Plateau Winter Multi-day Hike

open
Seefeld / Karwendel
Difficulty ratings: medium
Route length: 65.2 km

Long-distance hiking with a difference. A little more wintry. A little more comfortable. A little more varied. The stages of the star-shaped long-distance winter hiking trail lead to the most beautiful places on the Seefeld high plateau. You start at the same accommodation every day. And if you want, every day ends in the same spa area.

Tour character

The Seefeld high plateau winter long-distance hike is a five-stage tour that runs in a star shape from Seefeld. Unlike conventional long-distance hiking trails, you stay at the same accommodation every night. We particularly recommend staying overnight in one of the region's partner establishments. All stage starting points can be reached by public transport from the accommodation. The route runs through all five villages in the region - Seefeld, Leutasch, Mösern, Reith and Scharnitz and leads mostly on easy, at most moderately difficult cleared winter hiking trails to the worthwhile places on the sunny high plateau. Along the route, you will pass the Wildsee lake and the Wildmoos nature reserve, the Möserer See lake, the wide fields and forests of the Leutasch valley and the Friedensglocke bell. There are various places to stop for refreshments along the way. The views of the snow-covered Wetterstein mountains, the wintry Karwendel peaks and across the Inn Valley are particularly impressive over the course of the 5 days.
