Description

This tour is suitable for families and connoisseurs. Walk to the valley station of the Hartkaiserbahn cable car. Take the gondola lift (with a valid mountain railway ticket) to the Hartkaiser at 1,550 meters. At the top, a small circular trail leads through the forest to the photo point at the panoramic picture frame with the Wilder Kaiser in the background. Accompanied by a fantastic view, you hike along the groomed winter hiking trail towards Scheffau to Lake Tanzboden. After a short section through the forest, you pass under the slope through an illuminated tunnel. During a leisurely walk around the lake, you can take a break (seating available) and watch the skiers carving turns. Then you return to the Hartkaiser via the same route. Before taking the gondola down to the valley, you can enjoy the sun terrace at the Bergkaiser panorama restaurant.
