Description

The snowshoe tour starts at the Fischbachalm parking lot. Past the mountain rescue memorial chapel, the trail initially leads along the Kaiserbach stream and then through a wintry coniferous forest. At the mountain pine oil distillery, you cross the road and snow-covered pastures to the Griesner Alm. The tour now leads cross-country over snow-covered alpine pastures back to the Fischbachalm. In the Kaiserbach Valley, winter shows its harsh yet magical side.
