Snowshoe hike Snowshoe hike to the Fleischbank and Totenkirchl

Vomp / Karwendel
Difficulty ratings: difficult
Route length: 14.5 km
Duration: 8:00 h

From Hinterriß to the Fleischbank

Tour character

This easy winter hike starts at the Kaiserbachtal car park. From there, you hike along the rushing Kaisertalbach stream into the valley - with snowshoes if there is snow. The view of the craggy, snow-covered peaks of the Kaiser Mountains is magnificent. A detour to the chapel commemorating the mountain dead is worthwhile before continuing into the narrowing valley past snow-covered mountain huts and hunting lodges. At the end of the valley, you can fortify yourself with Tirolean delicacies at the Griesneralm hut or hike back to the Fischbachalm, which has been awarded 4 Edelweiss in the Falstaff guide.
