Nordic walking: the Ochsenbründlsteig trail
Route profile: a challenging, undulating running & Nordic walking route
Route description: This route is similar to the Kapellenweg trail as far as Wildermieming but then continues straight on at the gravel pit to the Straßberghaus mountain hut. From there, the route turns left and continues up the valley towards the Neue Alplhütte mountain hut. This section has breathtaking views of the nearby rugged and distinctive mountain peaks before following the Ochsenbründlsteig trail back down to Wildermieming. An incredible route with a high-altitude feel and excellent training effect. The terrain and physical requirements make it as difficult as it is varied.
