The ski resort of Vent is proof that good things really do come in small packages. Its high alpine location at the foot of the Wildspitze mountain, at 3,770 metres the highest peak in Tirol, means it has excellent snow cover throughout the season, while the resort's selection of blue and red runs makes it popular with beginners, intermediate skiers and families. A popiular run for intermediate skiers is the descent from the Wilder Mann cable car down into the village. There is a ski school and a mountain restaurant serving good food.
