On the Water hiking trail Hopfgarten, just before Schmitt’n Kirchl (Antonius chapel), the covered and well-equipped Kohlgrube barbecue area provides a lovely ambience for a barbecued snack at the river, in the midst of verdant surroundings. The shortest access area proceeds from the ca park at Schmitt’n Kirchl in Plon, heading out of the valley.
