Mines in Tyrol
Quite a few Tyrolean regions owe their early prosperity to the mining of salt, silver and ore. Today, the mines are all disused - only in Jochberg is copper still being mined by 4 miners - but those with a thirst for knowledge and history will find real gold mines underground.
