Description

The mining museum provides insight into the history of salt extraction and features a replica tunnel based on the Halltal valley mine that was closed in 1967.

Containing assorted shafts, tools, minerals, a chute and much more besides, it offers a realistic experience of heading underground.

Regular guided tours during the week (all year round): Monday, Thursday and Saturday at 11:30 am.
