Asterix conquers Mils!
Markus Koschuh, cabaret artist, poetry slammer, writer, and moderator from Innsbruck, has brought the Asterix adventure "The Battle of the Chiefs" to life in the different colors of Tyrolean dialect with dialect researcher Yvonne Kathrein: The Gauls argue in Upper and Lower Tyrolean – the Romans speak Viennese.
“25 years after the great Austrian author Felix Mitterer translated an Asterix volume into Tyrolean, it has been and is a great honor. However, since 'THE Tyrolean' does not exist, I had to be particularly creative. I can reveal this much: Readers will enjoy this volume and the Tyroleans will rediscover their own dialect in the funniest way!,” reveals Markus Koschuh. Visitors can convince themselves of this at the presentation in Mils. The Mils library is pleased to welcome you to this special evening!
