Barbara Balldini - "The Enlightener of the Nation" - consolidates all her knowledge, humor, and passion from eight cabaret programs together – and sweeps across the stage with her program "Highlights" like a tsunami: "Honestly, authentically, well-rounded, and beautiful... enough," as she likes to say about herself.
All who know, love, and adore her now have the chance to experience Balldini live in her program "Highlights." To the "newbies" and "beginners," it should be said: "PLEASE FASTEN YOUR SEATBELTS." This woman doesn't hold back. She speaks her mind – about love, about men and women, about everything in bed and around it. And she knows what she's talking about: After 25 years in sexual counseling, tantra practice, and as a sexual assistant for people with special needs, her cabarets are truly bursting with PRACTICE rather than THEORY.
In short: Forget Dr. Sommer, YouTube, or PornHub – watch BALLDINI, and you'll REALLY know how it's done.
With "Highlights," Balldini combines the funniest and most exciting parts of eight cabaret programs: everything you've always wanted to know about the so-called most beautiful thing in the world. She explains the dos and don'ts in the bedroom as well as preferences and inclinations that enrich human existence. She provides relationship tips for everyday life and shares anecdotes from her practice. She answers secret questions, clarifies myths, or discusses the effects of pornography on our sexuality. And last but not least, she eases the minds of couples who are worried because "the stuff in bed" is working less and less, and her knowledge serves as an inspiration for young and old alike.
"Highlights" always functions as a standalone cabaret program and is thus much more than a classic "best-of." Alongside countless giggles and laughs, there are also many enlightening moments – because the motto always applies: Enlightenment with laughter AND learning guarantee.
Moreover, her truly crazy and extravagant life (detailed in her biography) provides plenty of material for the stage and the amazed audience: From her parentless upbringing in a convent, through her careers as an elephant caretaker, adult educator, spatial designer, and sexual educator, to her roles as a mother, grandmother, wife, lover, and Buddhist, she has much to share (and confess).
