Helga Plankensteiner's new project presents arrangements of compositions by Jelly Roll Morton, the "inventor of jazz," for deep woodwinds and deep brass in an original lineup, uncovering completely new sounds from the almost hundred-year-old tunes with jazz, rock, funk, and swing.
