Cooking on the Alpine Pasture - your wild herb experience
Just let your soul dangle and indulge yourselves with delicious wild herb cuisine. Alpine wild herb hike at the Wilden Kaiser in Tyrol with communal cooking in a rustic alpine hut. For the first time, there is the opportunity to visit me for a day on the mountain and immerse yourself in the simple and quiet life up there.
>> Meeting point: Going at the Wilden Kaiser. The exact location / parking lot will be provided upon booking. The alpine hut is located at about 1,300 m below the Wilden Kaiser massif with a unique view of the surrounding mountain ranges of the Kitzbühel Alps all the way to the Großvenediger.
>>Our local superfood: ancient knowledge - newly discovered! Wild plants in the mountains often grow unnoticed at the edge of the path, remaining overlooked on our tours to the summit and are often considered "weeds" - yet they hold many secrets.
In earlier times, nature was both APOTHECARY and SUPERMARKET at the same time. Wild plants were a natural part of the kitchen and also served as REMEDIES for illnesses. Especially the wild herbs in the alpine meadows have a long tradition.

>> You can expect: a thrilling alpine wild herb excursion where you will receive practical tips on identifying, collecting, and using healthy and edible wild herbs and wild fruits. Together we will cook our lunch from these ingredients and enjoy the day with a breathtaking mountain panorama before heading back to the valley, packed with knowledge and plenty of inspiration.
On this hike, we will not only learn about local medicinal and culinary herbs. I will share rituals, myths, and traditions from ancient times. My personal goal is for you to become familiar with the most important wild herbs and be able to identify and collect them independently.

My connection to nature is reflected in the choice of ingredients for meals. Therefore, I pay attention to unpackaged, regional organic products. We cook vegetarian! Consideration can be given to allergies or food intolerances. Please address this during your booking.
(Not included: travel costs, parking fees, and possibly costs for a meal during the stay or on the tour, as well as alcoholic beverages.
We will be in free alpine and meadow terrain on this day. The participation of dogs is only possible on a leash.)
