Erstes grenzüberschreitendes Netzwerktreffen für Kulturakteure aus der Grenzreg
Whether visual arts, theater, brass music, or cinema: the Rosenheim district and Tyrol offer a diverse cultural program. However, many initiatives, artists, and stakeholders have largely been working in isolation. This is set to change.
The cultural officer of the Rosenheim district, Anke Hellmann, invites cultural creators to the first cross-border networking event at the University of Applied Sciences Kufstein on March 11 at 5:30 PM. The goal is to strengthen exchange and collaboration across borders. “Especially in the cross-border exchange about cultural work, it becomes evident how diverse cultural engagement is, but also how similar the challenges in cultural creation on both sides of the border are,” emphasizes Anke Hellmann. “Networking is the backbone of successful cultural communication,” also emphasizes Prof. Bert Neumeister from the University of Applied Sciences Kufstein Tirol. Together with students, cultural creators from the Rosenheim district and Kufstein Land are invited to exchange ideas and discuss the potentials of the regional cultural landscape. The series will also kick off with the introduction of the new digital platform “Cultural Atlas Bavaria.” Further networking events for the cultural and creative industries with different thematic focuses will take place on March 16 and May 8 in Rosenheim. Participation is free of charge. Online registration is requested by Thursday, March 5. More information and registration at www.landkreis-rosenheim.de/landkreisveranstaltungen/.
