On Friday, 29th August 2025, the exhibition HIDDEN LINES by artist Marc Itzinger will open at the 'Kunstraum Leibl' in Lienz.
In his new works, Marc Itzinger presents a colorful world of lines, shapes, and symbols full of hidden stories and humorous details. Playfully, faces, hearts, and everyday objects emerge between vivid colors and dynamic contours, inviting reflection and a smile. Colorful backgrounds reflect joy of life and intensity, while black lines direct the gaze and create space for personal interpretations. Humor is central: Itzinger's images are meant to touch and convey lightness.
With influences of Cubism and Street Art, he develops a distinctive handwriting that connects personal experiences, emotions, and hints. The exhibition invites viewers to take a closer look and be surprised by the "hidden lines."
Marc Itzinger (born 1995, Austria) lives in Salzburg, works as an artist and educator, and connects art with an interest in perception and emotion. His works are characterized by clear lines and symbolic elements, reminiscent of Cubism and Street Art, and carry a personal touch.
Itzinger has exhibited his works in several exhibitions in Austria and continuously develops new series on memory, emotion, and interpersonal connectedness. In addition to his art, he is a teacher, which enriches his work with educational and social impulses.
