Accompany the son of an contemporary witness as you ski along the mysterious route between Ischgl and Samnaun, a path that was once mainly travelled at night or in poor visibility. Samnaun, then as now a duty-free zone, was a hotspot for duty-free trade. Although Austrian customs officers were determined to stop the smugglers, they often escaped thanks to their excellent knowledge of the terrain. A real cat-and-mouse game in the Alps!
