The central basis of the project with Claudia Zeiske is an old linen tablecloth onto which the outlines of the city and its stories are embroidered.
An old linen tablecloth becomes a map of Kitzbühel: people use coloured figures to mark their favourite places, ideas, memories, wishes or criticisms. The tablecloth travels through the town, collecting stories that are recorded as embroidery or narratives. Every Thursday at KC750 – KulturCafé, further contributions can be added until a living portrait of Kitzbühel emerges.
