Description

The hike initially leads over the Mittelberg Glacier and then up a ladder to the Braunschweiger Hut. After that, the path descends along a steep trail beside roaring waterfalls back into the valley. Due to the ongoing glacier retreat, the transition from the glacier to the rock has become more challenging. Sure-footedness, a head for heights, and good physical condition are therefore absolutely essential.
