Weißensee-Mittersee

Description

We start at the bus stop Marienbergbahn. From there, we go gently uphill along the Pfarrer Fink Trail or via the forest road to Weißensee. Small but nice, the lake is nestled in the wonderful mountain panorama. Together we will continue our hike to our second mountain lake. We will reach Mittersee and, depending on the weather, take a small break. Afterwards, we will return to Biberwier.

Meeting point: 10:00 AM at the bus stop Marienbergbahn
Registration: By 5 PM the day before at Alpinschule Lermoos
Difficulty: easy hike with small obstacles (steps, roots, stones, snow), approx. 2.5 hours of pure walking time, not suitable for strollers! Duration: approx. 3 hours
Equipment: Winter or hiking shoes with a treaded sole, drinks & snacks, sun protection, weatherproof, sporty clothing, possibly trekking poles
Nice to know: no refreshment options, some water, bars, ... for the way is recommended

Important: If there are larger amounts of snow, we will do the tour with snowshoes. Snowshoes and poles will be provided by the Alpinschule (Euro 14,- rental fee, to be paid directly to the guide)
