Springtime is market time! Easter market around St. John's Church
On Maundy Thursday and Good Friday, the traditional Imst Easter market will take place again around St. John's Church. About 20 market vendors will offer regional handicrafts and Easter treasures for sale. There will also be plenty of food and drink available. In the children's workshop, Easter eggs can also be dyed.
The Imst Easter market around St. John's Church has been a popular fixture during Holy Week for several years now. On Maundy Thursday and Good Friday, around 20 market vendors invite visitors to linger comfortably at the Easter market with their artisanal products, Easter delicacies, and spring decorations.
The Imst market women’s association provides nourishment with a fasting soup, homemade cakes, and drinks. The EKIZ Imst (Parent-Child Center) offers the opportunity to dye Easter eggs in the children's workshop. Both are provided for social causes.
Various social institutions are also involved in the Easter market: The Production School Ausbildungsfit Oberland actively assists with the preparations. The psychosocial care service Imst and the association "Karibu – Help for Women in Uganda" are represented with sales stands.
