October: Art Workshop with Christian Yeti Beirer for children - quirky, creative, fun The joy of creative work is the most important goal A collaboration of literature & visual arts with the SPRACHSALZ-LITERATURE FESTIVAL The City Gallery Dialog sees itself, like the Literature Festival Sprachsalz, as a bridge builder and interface of various art forms. Thus, it is natural to engage in the upcoming exhibition “INTERFACE” in collaboration with the Sprachsalz Festival and to focus more closely on these interfaces, to consider and reflect upon them. Very renowned cartoonists from Vienna like PENG and Rudi Klein, cartoonist Nicolas Mahler, painter and object artist Hannes Priesch from Graz, the two Tyrolean textile artists Irmgard Hofer-Wolf and Monika Köck, who call themselves COOP- Stoff in duo, the conceptual artist Pauline Lotti Müller from Germany, poet and illustrator Julia Costa, a young cartoonist from Innsbruck - Luzius Stemeseder, and as a special guest and partner of the Sprachsalz Festival, Christian Beirer with his objects and the HAIKU path, which has been specially developed as a connecting element of language and visual art, will connect both events and locations through the city center. And concretely to this, the author and visual artist Christian Yeti Beirer will be represented in both formats and will share more in both the exhibition and the conversation - about the in-between of literature and art in his work - and will involve the event's attendees in an interactive Haiku experiment. And who knows, perhaps a few literary friends will also spontaneously show up.
