Sound director Florian Bogner invites you to get to know the multifaceted world of live electronics. The Austrian sound designer begins by introducing the technical and artistic fundamentals of this exciting field and explains how sound can be shaped and designed in real time with the help of modern electronic means. Participants will then immerse themselves in one of the most iconic works of electronic music: Alvin Lucier's “I'm sitting in a room.” Step by step, the piece will be explored both conceptually and technically. Experience how complex sonic changes can be created using the simplest of means—voice, microphone, loudspeaker, and space.
