KufTrail UAM 2026
The KufTrail UAM Trailrun is a sports and experience project of the full-time SKVM Bachelor students 2024 and will bring movement back into the Kufstein urban landscape for the second time on April 25, 2026.
The event combines athletic challenge with team spirit and a nature experience and is aimed at students, running enthusiasts, and sports-interested individuals from the region and beyond. Starting from FH Kufstein, the route goes through the city park and over the Kufstein city mountain. Two distances – 7.4 km and 14.4 km – offer both trail running beginners and ambitious runners the opportunity to be part of the event. In addition to a UAM ranking, there is an open community ranking, so participation is open to all interested parties. Spectators and supporters are also warmly invited to accompany the runners along the route and in the start/finish area and to create a lively atmosphere.
The event begins at 11:00 AM with the distribution of start numbers, ensuring that the start of the 7 km run at 1:00 PM and the start of the 14 km run at 1:15 PM can proceed without any issues. The awards ceremony will take place at 4:00 PM. Following this, the After-Race Party at Pure starting at 7:00 PM will round off the athletic day. Accompanying the run, visitors and participants can expect a diverse supporting program with moderation by Julian Hameder, musical accompaniment by DJ Dauerbrenner, as well as a food truck, beverage service by Genussmittel, and various side events such as Cornhole, Spikeball, and much more.
