Event Long Night of the Museums - Kitzbühel Alps Model Railroad Club

The “Kitzbüheler Alpen” Model Railway Club warmly invites visitors to the ORF Long Night of Museums and presents an impressive, highly detailed modular railway layout created by 17 dedicated members.

The “Kitzbüheler Alpen” Model Railway Club has been in existence for 25 years and showcases an elaborately designed modular layout, with each section individually built by its members. Visitors can discover unique landscape scenes as well as realistic recreations of locations from the Kitzbühel region. The lovingly crafted model landscape features digitally controlled trains and around 40 metres of track in H0 scale.

Three Museums – One Ticket!
Visit the Museum Kitzbühel, the MEC Kitzbüheler Alpen – Modelleisenbahnclub and the Bergbau- und Heimatmuseum Jochberg. Your ticket is valid for all three museums and exhibitions – as well as for all participating museums of the ORF Long Night of Museums in Tyrol.

The ticket is valid on 3 October 2026 from 6:00 pm to midnight as an admission ticket to all participating museums and cultural institutions.
