Museum Fiss - s'Paules und s'Seppls Haus
Museum s’Paules and s’Seppls House in Fiss
The stately Oberinntal courtyard dominates the old town center of the 1000-inhabitant community of Fiss with its large round arch gate, tiny windows, and artistically designed roof structure.
Like many farms in this region, it also shared the fate of redivision until it was abandoned a few decades ago.
With careful interventions, the architecture team "HG MERZ from Stuttgart (Mercedes Benz Museum)" created a "new" museum that documents both the very varied construction history of the house and the lives of its inhabitants.
Current special exhibitions:
Margit ZANGERL is showing pictures of the Fisser Blochziehen and the local wildlife.
Warm clothing is recommended (it is quite cool in the museum).
No registration required.
Entrance: Adults €4.50. Children from 6 years €2.
Last entry: 5:30 PM.
Closed on holidays.
