Osterfestival: Feminismus im Rückwärtsgang
New conservative and antidemocratic movements are forcing us to shift into reverse: How are right-wing women currently fighting against women's rights? Are we potentially losing achievements from more than a century of fighting for equality? And with what strategies will feminism ultimately prevail? Questions that Gertraud Klemm (writer), Beatrice Frasl (cultural scientist, gender researcher), and Andreas Speit (journalist and social scientist) are grappling with and examining from different perspectives: Gertraud Klemm takes matriarchal societies as a model for a powerful thought experiment on matriarchal inspiration, patriarchal deconstruction, and the need for a colonial reversal in Farewell to the Phallus. In Unromanticize Yourselves!, Beatrice Frasl illuminates the patriarchal indoctrination campaign regarding romantic love and its consequences. How anti-modern reflexes capture broad sections of society and push them further to the right is described by Andreas Speit in Authoritarian Rebellion. Based on impulses from these publications released in 2025, they attempt to outline possible (exit) paths and solutions.
