Rafting für Einsteiger - Den Lech erleben
Rafting on the Lech: A River in Constant Change
The Tyrolean Lech changes its appearance almost every day. Its colors shift from deep blue to milky turquoise to a strong brown after thunderstorms. Over the approximately 40 navigable kilometers of whitewater level 2 (WW II), the river offers a mix of lively sections and relaxed passages.
As the Lech is a natural wild river, the water level determines the character of the tour:
At higher water levels: More current in the river and more action in the waves.
At lower water levels: Reduced flow speed and a more leisurely paddling experience.
Depending on conditions, you will paddle with your guide on a section of about 10 to 20 kilometers between Steeg and Rieden. We ensure that the tour is tailored to the current conditions on the river, so the natural experience remains the focus.
