Description

The Ackerl hut (self-catering hut) is situated at an altitude of 1,455 m below the mighty south faces of the Ackerlspitze and Maukspitze.
The small hut is a self-catering hut of the Alpine Club and not managed.

On nice weekends in the summer, the hutkeeper is usually on site and sells drinks.

If you would like to spend the night in the hut, you can request the cabin key from the Alpenvereinsektion Kitzbühel.

The Hüttling car park only serves as a day car park. It is forbidden to park there overnight. Please use the free car park centre in Going if you are staying overnight at the Ackerl hut. A free hiking bus runs to the car park 'Hüttling'. The timetable and stops are listed online.
