Description

In summer, hiking trails lead to the Hecherhaus, via the Proxenalm, Grafenast or from the Loas. And for mountain bikers there is the ascent on the forest path.

From the mountain station at the Hecherhaus we follow the signs "Kellerjochhütte" in an easterly direction on a beautiful hiking trail. The Kellerjochweg leads south past the Arbeserkogel, then along the wide ridge to the already visible hut. Alm Schluß somewhat steeper on the mountain path to the Kellerjoch hut.

The unique view over the Inn valley and the impressive peaks of the Karwendel mountains make the Hecherhaus a popular excursion destination. The wind-protected sun terrace is particularly popular with skiers in the Kellerjoch ski area and ski tourers in winter.
