Description

On the ascent, you always have a fantastic view of the village of Bach and the Jöchselspitze. The snack station is also easily accessible in winter and offers one of the most popular toboggan runs - perfectly groomed and easy to use for everyone. Anyone wondering about the name of the hut is reminded of the origin of the word from the Lechtal dialect, in which "Wasa" means something like "wet meadow" or "swamp", in whose surroundings the hut is located. However, the damp and fertile ground is anything but an obstacle to exploring the surroundings.
In fact, a wide variety of flora and fauna has settled in the area around the hut, which you can observe and enjoy at your leisure. EPPAS GUATS The hut's home-style cooking focuses on regionality and seasonality. The chef serves the hearty house sausage with juicy sauerkraut and traditional Tyrolean dumplings.

Directions: From Bach in the direction of Ober-Grünau and follow the well-signposted path, approx. 1 hour walk No card payment possible
